Wilson Joseph Desoto

Marksville -- Services for Mr. Wilson Joseph Desoto Jr., will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marksville with Fr. Luke LaFleur officiating. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Mausoleum #2. Arrangements are under the direction of Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville.   Mr. Desoto, age 61, of Marksville, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2021 at the Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville.   He was proceeded in death by his wife, Rachel Carmouche Desoto and parents, Wilson Sr. and Orean Desoto.   He is survived by his son Adam Desoto (James Derrick Ryder) of Hessmer, daughter Janell Desoto Dauzat (Duston) of Hessmer; brothers, Julius Desoto of Marksville; William Desoto of Marksville and James Desoto (Donna) of Marksville; sister, Erline Ferguson (Tommy) of Bunkie; grandchildren, Landon Dauzat and Mollie Rae Dauzat of Hessmer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
