William T. Welch, Sr.

Funeral services celebrating the life of William T. Welch, Sr. will be held Friday, February 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at The Pentecostals of Haughton Church, 7594 Hwy 157, Haughton, Louisiana with Pastor Michael Tull and Rev. Derrin Benoit officiating. Graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Epps Cemetery, Hwy 17, Epps, Louisiana. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the church. William was born March 12, 1938, in Darnell, Louisiana and entered into eternal rest February 7, 2022, in Minden, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jason Glenn Jordan; three brothers; and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Welch of Minden; sons, Adam M. Welch and wife Lisa of Natchez, Mississippi and Rev. William T. Welch, Jr. and wife Paula of Ripley, Tennessee; daughters, Laura Payton and husband Tim of Woodville, Texas, Rebecca Benoit and husband Rev. Derrin of Minden, Teresa Ballard of Minden, Emily Welch of Minden, and Ellen Welch of Minden; sister, Leona Eubanks of Delhi; thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
