William E. Terry, Sr

Funeral services celebrating the life of William E. Terry, Sr, age 77 will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA with Rev. Delbert Terry officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Vivian. The family will have a time of visitation on Saturday, Feb. 27th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Terry was born on February 26, 1943 in Vivian, LA to William C. Terry and Susie Owens Terry and passed away on February 24, 2021 at North Caddo Medical Center in Vivian, LA after a sudden illness. He was a resident of Vivian, LA, a retired production foreman for Calumet Refinery and he spent his retired years hunting, fishing and estate selling. Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Nancy "Sue", grandson, Chris and his siblings, Delbert, Houston, Clyde, Jim, Roberta, Sally, Reba and Theo. Left to cherish his memory are his son, William "Willie" Terry (Emily) of Vivian, LA; daughter, Violet Harris (Gary) of Vivian, LA; sisters, Ouida Colley of Logansport, LA and Eva Lowe of Natchitoches, LA; brother, Reed Terry (Melinda) of Blanchard, LA. Mr. Terry is also survived by his grandchildren, Crystal Fielding, Rachel Terry, Jamie Harris, Ryan Harris (Courtney), Cody Terry (Karissa) and his great-grandchildren, Logan Brown, Dakota Harris and Carter Harris and numerous special nieces and nephew. Honoring Mr. Terry as pallbearers will be Wren Terry, Noe Gabriel, Bradley Weed, Jeremy Weed, Ronald Cruise and Charles Farmer.
