William "Billy" Dinkins, Jr.

A memorial service for William "Billy" Floyd Dinkins, Jr., 60, will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Buck Furlow. Billy was born on May 2, 1960 to William Dinkins, Sr. and Paula LeVasseur and passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 in Shreveport. Billy was a resident of Shreveport and worked as a Trim Specialist. He was a jack-of-all-trades and loved what he did. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, William and Paula, and step-mother, Rosa Dinkins. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Kasie Dinkins and Lisa Dinkins; grandchildren, Kalyn, Dallas, Adrian, Alyssa (Ms. Pearl); Aunt Linda Jo and husband, Johnny Walker; and numerous cousins. Billy took pride in his children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. The family would like to express special thanks to Regional Hospice for their care and compassion given to Billy during the last year.
