William H. Newsome

Winnsboro, LA - Funeral services for William H. Newsome will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Clay Russell. Interment will follow at Haughton Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. William was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on May 4, 1937 and passed away November 26, 2019 in Shreveport, LA. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired as a painter from the construction industry. William was a loving son, father and grandfather and was an avid Nascar Fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Janet Newsome; loving wife, Gladys Marie Newsome and a son, Jessie Trainer. William is survived by his daughter, Cindy Alford and husband, Jerry Don of Winnsboro, LA; son, Danny Trainer and wife, Diane of Doniphan, MO; grandchildren, Rachel Watkins, Christina Pierce and husband, Jerry Ward, Robert and John Trainer, Sabrina Yoder and husband, Chad, and Michael Hardwick and wife, Beth; great-grandchildren, Koby Yoder, Brooklyn Pierce, Jacob Carter, Cassidy Carter, Hayden Hardwick, Layne Pierce, Haylee Hardwick, Blake Pierce, Bryce Yoder, Layne Englerth, Camerson Britt, CayCay Watkins and numerous nieces and nephews. Honoring William as pallbearers will be, Scott Nielsen, Neal Nielsen, J.J. Nielsen, Michael Hardwick, Jerry Glen Alford and Bobby Nielsen.
