Graveside services for William David Loe, 87, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2019 at Forest Park West Cemetery. Service will be officiated by Bro. Roger Morton of Barron Road Baptist Church. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside.
Mr. Loe was born March 19, 1932 in Bienville Parish. He was the 10th of 11 children born to Edgar Alvin and Annie Mae Caskey Loe. Mr. Loe was a salesman who never met a stranger. He also was an avid quail hunter and trained bird dogs. He went to be with the Lord on August 6, 2019.
David was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lloyd Edgar Loe and Daniel Curtis Loe; sisters, Mable Emery and husband R.W., Charlotte Jackson and husband R.L., Ann Crawley and husband N.Y., Marie Pittman and husband George L., and Beth Walker and husband Lewis F.; brother-in-law, S.L. "Chuck" Hughes; and former wife, Jean Rogers. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Jean Fair Jones, Delora Hughes, and Juanita Anderson and husband Bruce D.; daughters, Sandra Posey and husband Darryl and Sharon Pitts and husband Kelvin; sons, Daniel Loe and wife Whitney and David Loe II and wife Peggy; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews as well as his former wife, Lynda Loe.
Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons, James David Posey, Jonathan Posey, Stephen Posey, Micah David Loe, and Robert Bailey as well as Bobby Ebarb. Honorary pallbearer will be Conner Loe.
