Funeral services for William L. Heflin, Sr. will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Gibsland, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
William was born March 4, 1949 in Rayville, Louisiana and entered into rest August 18, 2018 in Gibsland, Louisiana.
He is survived by his wife; Sue Heflin of Gibsland, sons; William L. Heflin, Jr. and wife Sandy of Arcadia, David Heflin and wife Meronda of Texas, and Joseph Heflin and wife Rhonda of Gibsland, daughter; Amanda Heflin and husband Curtis of Arcadia, sisters; Barbara Heflin of Minden and Carolyn Prothro and husband Stanley of Athens, brother; Bud Barker and wife Betty of North Carolina, and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be; Jozef Ruiz, Tommy Youngblood, Kaden Roberson, Pete Rogers, Phillip Picou, and Josh Phillips.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gil Youngblood, Larry Chandler, Curtis Roberson, and Joe Cummings.
