A "Celebration of Life" Service for William Robert (Bob) Everett II, 77, will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at City Church Shreveport, 230 Flournoy Lucas Rd., in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Elder Adam Jacobs.

Bob was born on April 14, 1949 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina to Fate Baker Everett, Sr. and Ruth Watson Everett, and passed away on June 3, 2026, in Shreveport.

Bob received his B.S. degree from North Carolina State University, where he proudly supported the NCSU Wolfpack. He was a devoted fan of college sports and a loving husband to his wife, Beverly, for 44 years. Bob was also a phenomenal father to his two children, Elizabeth Everett Winkler and Fate Baker Everett III. After retiring from farming in 1999, he worked briefly as a manager for Southern States Cooperative before working as a real estate agent with his wife for 19 years in Garrett County, Maryland.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Beverly Smith Everett; daughter, Elizabeth Everett Winkler and son-in-law, Jody Carroll Winkler; son, Fate Baker Everett III; brother, Fate Baker Everett, Jr. and sister-in-law, Jayne Brown Everett; sister, Ruth Everett Garner and brother-in-law, Bob Nelson Garner; sister-in-law, Mary Smith McCurry; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces/nephews.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission, the Hub Urban Ministries, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
