William "Bill" Oliver Evans

It is with sad regret that we notify family and friends of the death of William Oliver Evans, always known as “Bill.” He was born on July 12, 1942 to James Oliver and Glenna Virginia Evans in Baltimore, Maryland and passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Bill served his country in the Air Force in New Finland with the Strategic Air Command. He was in refueling with the flightline under President John F. Kennedy during the Bay of Pigs. We will truly miss him.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; and his twin brother, Bob Evans. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Patricia Evans; and stepdaughters, Teresa Griffin and Stephanie Griffin.
