William Howard Belsha,91, entered into eternal rest on January 3, 2021 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Funeral services honoring the life of William Howard Belsha will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, Louisiana. Interment will follow the service located at Strong Cemetery in Huxley, Texas. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. William was born on January 28, 1929 in Shelbyville, Texas to Calvin and Nellie Belsha. Preceding William in death are his parents, Calvin Roy Belsha and Nellie Mae Spratley Belsha; wife, Elva Ruth Brashier Belsha; two infant sons; daughters, Olga Bowen and Lynn Gipson; granddaughter, Janet Luman; three infant great-granddaughters; brothers, Calvin Belsha and Lamar Belsha; and sister, Reva Pugh. William is survived by his son, Randal Belsha and wife Lucille of Logansport, LA; sisters, Bonnie Baggett and Nelwyn Ables of Center, TX; son-in-law, James W. Gipson of San Augustine, TX; grandchildren, James H. Gipson, Tim Moore, and Amber Picou; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Honoring William as pallbearers will be Tim Moore, Tim Picou, Mark Anderson, Max Pugh, Guillermo Gomez, and Cole Barbee.
