William Lee Beaird

Shreveport, LA - William Lee Beaird age 68, passed away on November 27, 2019 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mr. Beaird was born to William James and Wilma Roberta Robbins Beaird on August 7, 1951 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He graduated from Fair Park High school. He retired from Center Point Energy (Arkla) after 42 years. Then went on to work for American Consulting and testing as a gas pipeline inspector. Mr. Beaird was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Lee Beaird; and parents. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Sherry Garrard Beaird ; sister, Wilma Beaird Adams; sister in law, Shela Tucker. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2019, at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Road; Shreveport, LA. Rev. McKee Williams will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society in his name.
