Wiley J. Saucier, Jr.

A Memorial Graveside Service honoring the life of Wiley J. Saucier, Jr. will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 at Forest Park Cemetery on St. Vincent Avenue in Shreveport, Louisiana at 11:00 a.m. Wiley J. Saucier, Jr. was born February 12, 1925 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Wiley J. Saucier, Sr. and Carrie B. Saucier and passed away peacefully, Friday, December 24, 2021 in Shreveport. Wiley attended C.E. Byrd High School and Northwestern State University. His life included serving his country in the United States Marine Corp during World War II and attaining his pilot license and traveling throughout the United States. He found joy in providing for his family and helping others. Wiley retired from Franks Petroleum as a draftsman and private pilot. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Saucier; and nephew, Scott Saucier. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Ruth; her children, Greg Baracato, Gary Baracato, and Gail Howell and husband, Tommy; grandsons, Ben, Jeff and Philip Baracato; brothers, Robert Saucier and wife, Janelle and Charles Saucier; and several very special nieces and nephews.
