MANY, LA - Graveside services celebrating the life of Weber Langley, 83, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Forest Park East Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave., Shreveport. Rev. Paul Navarre will be officiating.
Weber was born November 29, 1932 in Waskom, TX to Alex Weber Langley and Rosa Thigpen Langley, and passed away from a lengthy illness on November 3, 2016. Weber spent his life in construction as a Homebuilder. His family remembers all the good times spent on the houseboat Weber built in his driveway, and every weekend they went to Lake O' The Pines to fish with family and friends, then spend the night on the houseboat. Weber also loved to hunt, dance, and wear his cowboy boots. He was a devoted father and grandfather and will be missed.
Weber was preceded in death by his parents, Rosa and Alex Langley, his sister Adene Caraway and brother-in-law Herman Caraway. Weber is survived by his son, Mike Langley and wife, Bonnie; daughter, Paula Greening and husband, Rodney; grandchildren, Jennifer Greening Price and husband, Jason, Ryan Greening and wife, Emily, and Alex Langley; great-grandchildren, Ava Price, Anderson Price, Owen Greening, and Levi Greening; sister JoNell Couvillion and husband, Buddy, along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Honoring Weber as pallbearers will be Kendall Fontenot, Alex Langley, Ryan Greening, Brad Cornell, Brad Thompson, and Rodney Greening.
The family would like to thank the staff at Garden Park Nursing Home and the staff at Amedisys Hospice Care for all the care and attention given to Weber.
