WC “Dub “Ramie, 90, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026 in Mansfield, Louisiana. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA with Rev. Weyland Gaunt officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove Community, near Converse, LA. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026 at the Funeral Home.

Dub was born on October 17, 1935 in Benson, LA. In 1953 he married the love of his life, Lou Ellen. They moved to Lake Charles, LA, where he established his own business, Ramie Pest Control. In 1979, they moved back to Desoto Parish, where he established another business, Mansfield Pest Control.

Daddy loved the great outdoors. People who knew him knew how much he loved to hunt, fish and grow a garden, He always had a story and loved to tell it. He dearly loved his family, friends and country. He never missed a family reunion or an invitation to a fish fry. But most of all, Daddy loved GOD. He was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Mansfield. He was a true man of faith, and we know he is now walking those golden streets of Heaven.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lou Ellen Ramie; his mother Ruby Brown; two sisters and two brothers.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, David Ramie and Darrin Ramie (Vickie); daughter, Beth Guinn (Mike); grandchildren, Tiffanie Dunham, Amy Goodly, Josh Ramie, Emily Ramie, Sarah Burleigh, Preston Ramie, and 13 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Elijah Baker, Dakota Burr, Wayne Burr, David Duhon, Jason Dunham and Josh Ramie.

In Lieu of flowers, the family would like for memorials to be made to Fellowship Baptist Church in Mansfield, LA
