Wanda Faye (Bobo) Whittaker

Visitation for Wanda Faye (Bobo) Whittaker will be Saturday, September 26, 2206, at 10:00 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Willie Bryan officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana.

Wanda was born July 22, 1935, in Lafayette County, Arkansas to the late Ernest and Mable McCoy Bobo, and entered into rest on September 21, 2026, in Minden, Louisiana.

Wanda graduated from Springhill High School in Springhill, Arkansas. She was a homemaker, a loving mother and worked as a bank officer at LB&T in Shreveport, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Whittaker, brother, Rev. J.W. Bobo, and sisters, Louise Cummings and Ernestine Beck.

She is survived by her loving companion, Keith Alton of Minden; son, Dr. Ronald Ellis (Cissy) of Monroe; daughters, Sandra Strickland (Roger) of Minden and Kay Love of Memphis TN; stepson, Keith Michael Alton (Christy) of Shongaloo; stepdaughters, Kelly Scroggins (Warren), Rhonda Alton, and Mandy Craig; sister, Sylvia Ann Owens of McCaskill, AR; grandchildren, Ben Adams, Luke Adams, Brooklyn Love, Sydney Burnett (Kelvis), and Elija Love; step-grandchildren, Slade Hampton (Brandi), Trippe Hampton (Tara), Patches Euchaski, Emily Rudd, Preston Alton, and Skyler Smith; great grandchildren, eleven; great great-grandchildren, seven, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ben Adams, Luke Adams, Keith Michael Alton, Ty Adams, Preston Alton, and Kelvis Burnett.
