Wanda Faye Tibbits

Wanda Faye Tibbits, 79, went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from a sudden illness. She married Edward Tibbits, had three children, and later raised her sister's three daughters. Being a mother was who she was always meant to be, and she did an amazing job. She volunteered at schools and helped out where she could. Wanda loved everyone she met, and if she joked with you, then she really liked you.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Edward Tibbits; her mother, Pauline Howard; and her two sisters, Bennie Beal and Robbin Vanderford.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her children: Veronica Rock and husband, Bob, and their son, Bobbi; Monica Cabrera and husband, Pedro; Matt Tibbits and wife, Tonya; Brandy Walsh; Kelly Vanderford; and April Golden and husband, Keith. She is also lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren and great‑grandchildren.

Special thanks to the Marcum family for years of friendship and support.

Wanda’s strength will always be admired, and she will be greatly missed by all who loved her. What a surprise for Eddie when she arrived on his birthday.
