Wanda A. Kirkland

Funeral services for Wanda A. Kirkland, 74, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Dr. Mike Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City, LA. Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the funeral home. Wanda was born July 14, 1943 in Shreveport, LA and passed away April 19, 2018 in Shreveport after a six year battle with vascular dementia. She loved her family and had a passion for animals. Wanda was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes A. Cooper; father, J.D. Lee; daughter, Vickie W. Trotta; brother, Marion O. Lee; and sister, Melba L. Brown. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Debbie W. Kauffman and husband Vernon; grandsons, Chase and Cody Kauffman and T.J. and Eric Addison; granddaughter, Lynnsey T. Carter; great-granddaughter, Charleigh Trotta; sister, Bobbie Layton; brother, James E. Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews. Honoring Wanda as pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.
