Walter Wesley Beaird

A "Celebration of Life" Service for Walter "Wesley" Beaird, 54, will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Officiating the service will be Pastor Tommy Patton of Cypress Baptist Church. Wesley was born on October 24, 1967 to Clyde Rudolph Beaird and Minyonne Beaird Brock in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in Keithville. Wesley was a resident of Keithville and did air-conditioning and electrical work as his occupation. He also enjoyed working on cars and fishing. He loved being on the lake. He was a loving, strong-willed man that enjoyed being with his family. His daughter, Katelyn, and wife, Stephanie, were his entire world. He is preceded in death by his father, Clyde "Bucky" Beaird; wife, Stephanie Beaird; grandma, Christile Robertson and grandma, Inez Kinney; and grandpa, Pete Robertson. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Minyonne Brock; daughter, Katelyn Beaird; brother, Billy "Alex" Beaird; and in-laws, John and Gladys Gay. Honoring Wesley as pallbearers will be Stephen Taylor, William "Bill" Robbins, Scott Johnson, and James Hawkins.
