Walter Seabron "Seabie" Thornhill

Walter Seabron “Seabie” Thornhill, 73, of Shreveport, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on January 4, 2024. He was born on December 14, 1950 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

A memorial service honoring the life of Walter will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive in Shreveport. Officiating the service will be Pastor Steve Robinson.

Walter graduated from Fair Park High School. He retired from the Air Force in 1990 and was an Ammo Trooper for 20 years. After the military, he owned Cajun Electronic Repair Shop. Walter loved playing the guitar and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Estes Harry Thornhill and Esma Arlee Thornhill; brother, Harry Otis Thornhill; and sister, Maelee Thornhill. Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Julieta Thornhill; daughters and sons-in-law, Marietta and Kenny Carr, and Michelle and Don Pledger; grandchildren, Jessica Carr and partner Cam Watson, Cameron and Kim Carr, Alex and Jessica Pledger, Noah Pledger, and Emma Pledger; great-grandson, Jackson Pledger.
