Wade James Erickson

A Celebration of Life honoring Wade James Erickson will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his mother’s house in Waskom, Texas from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Wade James Erickson was born August 8, 1958 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to James Edgar Erickson and Cecile Ruth Wimer Erickson and passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Wade went to Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas, received his G.E.D. and enlisted in the U.S. Army. He became an ASE Master Ford Mechanic and worked hard for 30 plus years. He enjoyed collecting car memorabilia but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his father and his loving wife, Phyllis Erickson.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Michael Erickson and wife, Candice; daughters, Katie C. Eck and husband, Kingston, and Charlotte Erickson; mother, Cecile Erickson; and grandchildren, Geyj and Steven; and numerous other large extended family and friends.
