Vonda L. Stewart

Funeral services for Vonda McMillan Stewart age 80, will be held Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia, Louisiana. Interment will follow at New Bethel Cemetery. A visitation will be Wednesday January 27, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. Vonda was born November 17, 1940 in Dallas, Texas and she passed away January 26, 2021 at her home in Bryceland, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her mother Elwanda Perkins and her son Kevin Stewart Sr. Vonda is survived by her husband of 62 years Wayne Stewart of Bryceland, daughters, Rhonda Redding and husband Gary of Oklahoma and Kristy Chitty and husband Jimmy of Grand Saline, Texas as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Arcadia, Louisiana and loved being a part of home missions. Her hobbies included sewing, painting, and singing. Vonda was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed. Honoring Vonda as pallbearers will be Sammy Matthews, Steve Gleason, Riley Stanberry, Jimmy Chitty, Doug Mills, John Wilson, and Micah Crawford
