Virginia Ryals Moncrief

Virginia Ryals Moncrief, 95, entered into eternal rest on September 2, 2023. She was born in Coushatta, Louisiana, on August 22, 1928, to Daniel Benson Ryals and Lophia Jane Cannon Ryals. A private graveside service will be held to honor her life.

Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Orland Eugene Moncrief, her parents, Daniel and Lophia Ryals, her brothers, Daniel Ryals, Jr., Edwin Ryals, William Ryals, Melvin Bamburg, and Melton Bamburg, and her sisters, Inez Ryals Mangum and Leona Ryals Matthews.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Linda Moncrief Pitts and Judy Ellen Moncrief, her son-in-law, Larry Pitts, her grandchildren, Katherine (Katy)  Ainsworth and Eric Pitts; her grandson-in-law, Daniel Ainsworth; and her great-grandchildren, Joseph Ainsworth and Samuel Ainsworth. She loved her family very much, was very much loved, and will be greatly missed.
