Virginia "Jenny" Lea Rich

A visitation for Virginia “Jenny” Lea Rich, 41, will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana.

Jenny was born on August 28, 1984, to Robert Alfred Rich and Brenda Stiles Rich in Bossier City, Louisiana, and passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, in Benton, Louisiana. Jenny left this world far too soon, leaving behind countless people whose lives were brighter because they knew her.

To know her was to love her. She never met a stranger and had an incredible gift for making everyone feel seen and valued. She had an amazing memory for names, families, and life’s little details, and she genuinely cared about people. Whether you had known her for years or just met her, Jenny had a way of making you feel like an old friend.

Jenny was known for her contagious smile and wonderful sense of humor. She loved making people laugh and could always find a way to brighten someone’s day. Her coworkers and friends often described her as the heart of every room, helpful, hardworking, joyful, and someone who puts others before herself.

She had a deep love for her family. Jenny adored her nieces and nephews, Mahalie, Slayte, Lexi, and Jay, and treasured hearing every detail about their lives. She shared an especially close bond with her sister, Ashlea, talking, laughing, and encouraging one another daily. Her absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her most.

Jenny also loved her community. Through her work at the Tobacco House, she became a familiar face to countless customers, often remembering not only their favorite order but their families and stories as well. She found joy in connecting with people and made lasting impressions wherever she went.

A woman of strong faith, Jenny loved the Lord and found comfort in talking about Jesus. Jenny will be remembered for her kind heart, her laughter, her love of Mexican food, and the joy she brought into everyday moments. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched through simple acts of kindness, thoughtful conversations, and unconditional love.

In honor of Jenny, the family invites those attending to wear a touch of pink, her favorite color, as a celebration of her life.

Jenny was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert Dane Rich and Virginia “Betty” Rich of Arcadia, LA; Curtis and Elsie Stiles of Plain Dealing, LA; father, Robert “Al” Rich; aunt, “SuSu” Prince; and uncle, Donald Stiles.
