Vinson Woodard

Bobbie Vinson Woodard, "Vinson", a Haywood County North Carolina native, died unexpectedly of natural causes Saturday, May 21, 2016 near his home in Converse, Louisiana. Vinson was 68 years old. Vinson was a man of hard work and a brilliant furniture restoration craftsman. He had a keen sense of humor and a perpetual glint in his eye. Vinson's passing is sure to conjure up many memorable stories for those who knew him. Vinson was preceded in death by his parents; Bonnie and Leslie Woodard and his wife; Kay Woodard. He is survived by: his siblings; Phyllis Evans of Waynesville NC and Wayne Woodard of Flat Rock NC, sons; Jason Woodard of Waynesville NC, John Woodard of Tucker, GA and Jordan Woodard of Statesboro, GA, and stepchildren; Jennifer Rider of Portland Oregon, Brian Green of Gainesville GA, Jonathan Green of Dublin GA. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 26^th at 11:00 am at Union Springs Baptist Church in Converse, LA.
