Vincent Joseph Rinaudo

Funeral services for Vincent Joseph Rinaudo, 92, will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Pines, 1050 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road in Shreveport. A visitation will be held Monday, August 16, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport. Officiating the service will be Father Mark Watson assisted by Father Rainy Johnson. V.J. was born on May 9, 1929 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Joseph Phillip Rinaudo and Sadie Mary Defatta and passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Shreveport. V.J. was the owner/operator of Custom Air for 46 years. He was a charter member of Holy Rosary Church, Past President and lifetime member of South Shreveport Optimist Club, Eucharistic Minister, and was on the Board of St. Mary's Building and Grounds Committee, and Past President and member of the Men's Club at St. Mary's. He was a member of the Plumbers Steamfitters Local 141 for 70 years. He thoroughly enjoyed working. He also enjoyed fishing and camping during his leisure time. V.J. was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 35 years, Barbara (Bobbie) Jean Rinaudo; daughter, Janis R. Showman; brothers, Sam, A.J. and Joe Rinaudo; and sister, Angelina Rinaudo. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Joey Rinaudo, Kathy and husband, Dr. Don Smith, Paul Rinaudo, Jimmy Rinaudo and wife, Donna, Timmy Rinaudo and wife, Betty and Tommy Rinaudo and wife, Donna Kay; ten grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
