Verna "Mike" Savage

Funeral services for Verna "Mike" Savage will be held Monday, December 20, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jeff Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Monday prior to the service. Mike was born October 16, 1950, in Warren, Arkansas and entered into rest December 17, 2021, in Minden, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents John M. and Thettie Sue Savage; son Michael Jerome Savage; grandson, Ryan Savage, and great grandson, Elijah Savage. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Savage of Minden; sons, Craig Savage (Monique), Timothy Savage, and Marcus Smith all of Minden; daughters, Sherrie Rico (Chris) of Minden and Rebecca Collins (Keith) of Henderson, Texas; sisters, Jhan Lee of Haughton and Regina Savage of Minden; brother, Johnny Savage of Minden, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
