Verna LaNell Rogers

Converse, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Verna LaNell Rogers, 85, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Rose-Neath Chapel in Mansfield, LA with Rev. Jimmy Price officiating. Burial will follow at Converse Cemetery in Converse, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. LaNell was born December 3, 1933 in Noble, LA to Jack H. "Daddy Jack" and Katherine Allen "Mama Koot" Anderson and entered into rest on December 15, 2018, in Mansfield, LA. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Preceding LaNell in death were her parents; her husband, Martin Buster Rogers; daughter, Vonda Rogers Miller; sister, Barbara Parker; and brothers, Jack "Top" Anderson and Orland Ray Anderson. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Marty Rogers; daughter, Susie Rogers and Jerry Williams; grandchildren, Shannon Williams Cox and husband Nicholas, Scotty Williams and wife Cheyenne, Erin Miller and fiancé Marty Sepulvado and great grandchildren, Andrew Cox, Alex Cox, Christopher Williams, Chesleigh Williams and Cayden Miller Fletcher. Honoring LaNell as pallbearers will be Scotty Thomas, Daniel McCoy, Jerry Williams, Danny Williams, Mike Anderson and Russell Hamilton.
