Vera Weaver

A joint graveside services for Vera Weaver and her husband, Tommy Drew Weaver, will be held at Bistineau Baptist Cemetery at Bistineau Baptist Church in Heflin, Louisiana on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. They were married for 64 years and wanted to be buried together on the same date. Vera was born June 29, 1938, and she left this world on Monday, November 1, 2021 at the age of 83. She was a retired employee of Commercial National Bank with 30 years of service. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the loves of her life. "omnia vincit amor" Vera was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tommy Drew Weaver; her parents, Johnnie Robert and Lessie Taylor Wood; her sisters, Diane W. La Farlette and Andrea Wood; her brother, Donald Wood and daughter-in-law, Angela T. Weaver. She is survived by two sons, Kimmble Drew Weaver and Tommy Scott Weaver; four grandchildren, Amanda J. Bolding, Jill W. Jones and husband, Casey, Taylor Scott Weaver and wife, Kyren and Amanda Lowery; four great-granddaughters, Alexis, Ashley, Callie and Bradleigh; five great-grandsons, River, Conner, Logan, Gavin and Tommy; nephew, Chase Barnhill and numerous loved and appreciated nieces and nephews.
