Valerie Deâ??Lynn Williams

Funeral services for Valerie De'Lynn Brimer Williams, 52, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. Bob Moore officiating. Interment will follow at First Baptist Church, Keithville Cemetery located at 6295 Williams Rd, Keithville, LA 71047. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Valerie was born December 13, 1966 in Houston, TX and passed away on June 25, 2019. She was very strong, sassy, stubborn, down to earth, opinionated, kindhearted, sarcastic, but most of all loving. Valerie loved taking care of animals, drinking Dr. Pepper, cooking homegrown food, gardening, couponing, four-wheeler riding, dancing and singing to Elvis and Patsy Cline in the kitchen, as well as giving kisses to her grandbaby. She loved making sure that her husband did exactly what she said, and he wouldn't have it any other way. Most of all she loved and cared for her family. Valerie was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Rayburn. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 18 years, Richard Williams; daughter, Krystal Armstrong and husband Thomas Armstrong; daughter, Alexis Allen; grandchildren, Maria Claire Armstrong and Alexis' bun in the oven; father, Ronnie Brimer; sister, Rhonda Shafer; fur-baby, Max; and a host of family and friends. Honoring Valerie as pallbearers will be William David Hodges, Michael L. Serres, Michael S. Serres, Jared Hodges, Rodney Nelson, and Vincent "Butch" Scott. Honorary pallbearers will be Virgil Duane Hodges, Brent Hodges, and Christopher Brimer. The family would like to give a special thanks to Willis Knighton North Hospital for their wonderful staff's love, care, hard work, and dedication. A special thanks to Jenifer Fontenot R.N. for the loving care and patience that she showed.
