Val R. Timmons

Graveside services for Val Ray Timmons will be held at Longstreet Cemetery on May 22, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Rusty Hall officiating. Family to receive friends at the funeral home for visitation will be May 21, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.   Val was born January 31, 1937 in Shreveport, LA to Dan Kelly Timmons and Vesta Loraine Golden and entered into rest on May 19, 2019. Val was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ann Timmons; brother, Harold Timmons; and grand-daughter, Kari Powell.   Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Gary Timmons and wife, Tammy; daughters, Valerie Powell and husband, Ray, and Cynthia Hendrickson and Keith Angelle; brothers, Earl Timmons and wife, Sandra; He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.   Honoring Val as pallbearers will be Ray Powell, Tyler Timmons, Brannon Lormand, Kristopher Powell, Larry Timmons, and Eugene Timmons.
