Vadere Maxine Shahan, 104, of Logansport, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on April 27, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held at Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Logansport, Louisiana on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Funeral services honoring her life will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church. Officiating the service will be Rev. Charles Hall. Interment will follow the service at Cool Springs Cemetery in Logansport, Louisiana. Vadere was born on July 21, 1916 in Logansport, Louisiana to Duffy Allen Johnson and Connie Alma Horn Johnson. Preceding Vadere in death are her brother and sister. She is survived by her Sons, William Wayne Shahan and wife Katherine of Houston, Texas, James Allen Shahan and wife Louise of Alexandria, Louisiana; Grandchildren, Kenneth Shahan and wife Sarah, Justin Shahan, Cherie Rudd and husband Randy, Lori Anne Pellerin and husband Richard, Debra Louise Davis and husband Kurt; Great-Grandchildren, Zachary Shahan and wife Jannie, Mathew Shahan and wife Jennifer, Kristi Sybly and husband Brodie, Jamie Rose and husband Jessie, Connor Pellerin, Kent Pellerin, Ashton Pellerin, Kate Davis, Benjamin Davis; Brother, Joe Johnson of Joaquin, Texas; Along with 10 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
