Ernie called Shreveport home and worked in manufacturing following his time in the United States Air Force. As a Vietnam veteran, he was proud of his service.
He was a loving husband to the late Dolly Hagans. He was the father of three wonderful children: Cory Hagans and wife, Jessica, Carl Hagans and wife, Kim, and Casey Hagans and fiancé, Cesar Fuentes. He was also a loving grandfather to his grandchildren, Tara Hagans, Olivia Hagans, Noah Wood, Emerson Hagans, Cameron Hagans, Asher Hagans, William Hagans, Elizabeth Kennedy, and Alanna Kennedy; and a loving brother to his sister, Cathy Hagans.
Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Catherine Hagans; and wife, Dolly Hagans.
Honoring Ernie as pallbearers will be Brad King, Kristian Gates, Cap Haney, Tim Karbowski, DuWayne O' Neill, Ray Gomez, Paul Weaver, and Tommy King.
Ernie will be terribly missed, but we are comforted in knowing he is together again with the love of his life, his wife, Dolly Hagans.
