Truett Brown

A graveside service honoring the life of Truett Lee Brown will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2022, in Converse Cemetery, Converse, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bro. Weyland Gauntt.

Truett was born on April 11, 1945, in Converse, Louisiana to Marvin “M.T.” and Maggie Brown and entered into rest on Friday, August 5, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Joseph Brown, David Brown, and Louella Madiar.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 55 years, Diane Chance Brown; children, Shelia Smith and husband, Robert, Brian Brown and wife, Robbin, Jennifer Craig and husband, Clint; siblings, Maggie Sanchez, Mary Ann Schwartzkopf, John Henry Brown, and Jimmy Dean Brown; grandchildren, Montana Harris, Lane Craig, Sierra Smith, Brandon Craig, Garrett Brown, Braiden Craig; and great-grandchildren, Cayden Craig, and Adalynn Craig.

Honoring Truett as pallbearers will be Lane Craig, Brandon Craig, Garrett Brown, Braiden Craig, Ryan Ebarb, and Darius Lloyd.  Honorary pallbearers will be Wade Hall, Hank Butler, Willie Graham, Jerry Graham, and Chris Ebarb.
