Tina Heard Jones

A memorial service for Tina Heard Jones, 63, will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Tina was born on September 14, 1962, to Andy Heard and Gloria Robinson in Minden, Louisiana, and passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Tina Jones, lovingly known as “Nanny,” was the heart of her family and a constant source of warmth, strength, and unconditional love. To those who knew her best, she was more than a grandmother; she was a steady presence, a safe place, and a guiding light. She cherished time spent with her grandbabies, family, and friends. Whether gathered together watching her favorite television shows or simply sitting and talking for hours, she valued the simple moments that brought everyone closer. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and belonging. Nanny had an extraordinary gift for connecting with people. She could strike up a conversation with anyone and make them feel known and valued. Her kindness was effortless, her heart was generous, and she would quite literally do anything for those she loved. She never missed a celebration and faithfully showed up for every milestone, holiday, and gathering. If something mattered to her family, it mattered to her. Tina was also a fighter. She battled chronic heart failure with remarkable strength and resilience for many years. Through every challenge, she demonstrated courage, determination, and an unwavering love for her family. Her legacy is one of loyalty, compassion, laughter, and steadfast devotion. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Tina was preceded in death by her father, Andy Heard; son, Taylor Jones; sister, Angela Heard; brother, Tony Heard; and granddaughter, Karley Wyatt.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Gloria Robinson; daughters, Kim Broden and husband, Adam, and Kristina Ray and husband, Doug; grandchildren, Kiley Wyatt, Haden Harris, Bryce Harris, Kamden Ray, Emery Ray, Kinsley Wyatt, and Mason Thompson; great-granddaughter, Emberly Wyatt; sister, Lisa Heard; nieces, Anita O’Toole, and Courtney Miller, and nephew, Jared Aubry.
