Thomas Ashley Schmidt

Thomas Ashley Schmidt was born on May 7, 1982 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Ashley Ray Schmidt and Dorothy Gail Ryals. He entered into eternal rest on April 26, 2021, in Roanoke, Virginia. He is survived by his Father, Ashley Schmidt of Tallahassee, Florida; Mother and Step-Father, Gail and Kenneth Ryals of Shreveport, Louisiana; Sons, Lane Brann of Shreveport, Louisiana, Blake Schmidt of Haughton, Louisiana; Aunt, Sharon Malloy of Tallahassee, Florida; Cousins, Christina Malloy Dusek of Tallahassee, Florida and Charles Malloy of Escondido, California, Courtney Brannan of Tyler, Texas. Thomas enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Memorial services honoring the life of Thomas will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 located at Trenton Pentecostal Church in Trenton, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. prior to service time. In Lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Foundation, PO Box 80378, Baton Rouge, LA 70898-0378.
