Oil City, LA. - Thomas L. Peace went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 27, 2017 at the age of 81. Thomas was born November 30, 1935 in Waskom, TX. He was a Marine, a sniper, a roughneck, an operator, a carpenter, a mechanic, a machinist and a welder. He taught us how to work, save, and earn everything we ever got. He also taught us how to treat a lady and to take care of our families. We were so thankful to call him Daddy. Thomas was a member of Crossway Church in Queen City, TX
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Peace; daughters, Jeanette Coleman and Donna Tennis; son, Billy Cox; brothers, Roy Peace and Joe "Buckshot" Peace and grandson, Kevin Cox. He is survived by his sons, Jimmy cox, Brian Lee and wife, Ann, Billy Taylor, Elvin Peace, Glen Peace and wife, Lori, Michael Peace and James Peace and wife, Amy; siblings, Betty, Katie and John. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
