Thomas O. Lee

Thomas O Lee took his last breath in his earthly body on January 25, 2021 at 1:30pm. When he reached the Heavenly Gates he was greeted by our Lord Jesus and his parents, Trues and Nola Lee, his brothers Charles Lee and Boukey Lee. Tom, as he was known to all, worked for the Webster Parish Police Jury and eventually retired after 38 years. In his younger years he worked at the Heflin Saw Mill. He worked as a welder at Clement in Minden, and worked in the oil field for a short period of time. After retiring, Tom was the "Piddler". He fixed all things around the house. He was usually found working on the trucks and tractors or piddling with the cows or in the hay field. He loved his garden! He planted his garden with enough peas and corn for the whole family every single year. Tom was a member of the Heflin United Methodist Church and a member of the Heflin Volunteer Fire Department since it was organized in July of 1976. He was very dedicated to the Fire Department until his health started failing. He is preceded in death by his step- daughter Connie Brantley and step grand- daughter Kayla Brantley, friend and the biological father of their daughter Nena, Donnie Nelson. Left to cherish his memory, his wife Cathy Lee, daughter Nena Nelson, sister Judy Rae Barnett, brother Jerry Lee, sister-in-law Jackie Lee, granddaughter Kayelee Cruse, grandsons Justin Cruse and Niklous Meshell, step-daughter Janet Andrews, step granddaughter Valerie Brantley, step grandsons Jim and Ryan Andrews, 3 great grand- children and 1 great great- granddaughter. His many nieces and nephews were the joy of his life. Special nieces, Tina Rozelle and Stacey Teauge, and numerous other great nieces and nephews and his special dog, Bella. Special thanks to the 7th floor staff at Willis Knighton Piermont, Kindred Home Health.
