Funeral services celebrating the life of Thomas Leake will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church West Chapel with Bro. Leland Crawford officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service time. Interment will follow at Old Athens Cemetery in Athens, Louisiana under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.
Thomas was born May 13, 1930, in Talco, Texas and left this earthly life for heaven on May 22, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ethel Leftwich, daughter, Alice Evans, brother, Kyle Leake and his wife Sue, grandson, Keith Everage, and great-granddaughter, Amanda Parker.
He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Everage (James) of Minden, Judy Parker (Rob) of Heflin, and Debbie Shirey of Minden, brother, Philip Leake (Mary) of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, grandchildren, Josh Parker (Chelsy), Lance Milligan (Jennifer), and Rachel Hunter, great-grandchildren, J.P. Parker (Laci), Bryce Parker, Mae Parker, Justin Hunter, Liam Milligan, Easton Milligan, and Asher Milligan, special niece, Becky Lindsay (Kevin) and nephew, Gregg Leake (Melissa).
Pallbearers will be James Everage, Josh Parker, Pat Harper, Lance Milligan, J.P. Parker, and Bryce Parker.
Honorary pallbearers will be Liam Milligan, Easton Milligan, and Asher Milligan.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church Minden or donors’ choice
