Thomas Jerald Barnett, Sr.

A graveside service for Thomas Jerald Barnett, Sr. will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, 8101 Dorcheat Rd., Minden, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mark Donahue. Thomas was born on September 28, 1942 in Minden, Louisiana to Carl and Pearl Barnett and passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents and son, Jerry Barnett. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 26 years, Gabriele Barnett; son, James Barnett and wife, Audrey; stepdaughters, Cherry Hermes and husband, Lloyd and Tonya Boughton and husband, Bryan; stepson, Kevin Duck and wife, Lesley; grandchildren, Donyea Barnett, Kayson Duck, Kaleb Duck, Lane Boughton, Haley Boughton, Rachel Hermes, Erica Hermes, Adam Hermes, Jared Hermes; and numerous grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Thomas was a good father and husband. He was so thoughtful and kind. To know him was to love him, and he will be truly missed.
