Thomas M Hicks

Bossier City, LA Thomas M. Hicks, age 73, formerly of Minden, Louisiana, passed away on February 20, 2020 after a short illness. He was a graduate of Dubberly High School. He was retired from General Motors in Shreveport, where he worked as a journeyman machinist for 30 years. Mr. Hicks is survived by his wife, Shirley Hicks, his children, Jeannie Price and husband Ronnie Price of Minden, LA, son, Kevin Hicks of Dubberly, LA and stepchildren Reba Jalil and husband Luay Jalil of Allen, TX, Jason Holland and wife Kim Holland of Minden, LA, and Allen Holland of Bossier, LA and 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Don Hicks of Dubberly, LA and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Arnold "Red" Hick and Johnny Hicks of Dubberly, LA and his sister Sharon Hicks Priest of Dubberly, LA. A memorial service lead by his grandson, Nathaniel Holland, will take place at Eastside Baptist Church in Minden on Friday, February 28^th at 3 p.m. A fellowship dinner will be served following the service, courtesy of Eastside Baptist Church.
