Funeral services honoring the life of Thomas “Speedy” Max Allen, Jr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be held at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Father Joseph Howard.
Speedy was born on October 7, 1972 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Thomas Max Allen, Sr. and Marjorie Allen and passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
He had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. He was an excellent bartender and worked for many years at Ernest’s Orleans restaurant and finally, at Coyote’s Bar and Grill. His customers dearly loved him and became a regular of his for many years. He was a loving father, brother, nephew and son.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandmothers, Marjorie Palmisano and Eunice Allen; uncle, Donald P. Jensen and aunt, Barbara D. Jensen. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Thomas Allen Woolley; uncle, Ernest Palmisano; brother, Ronnie Allen; cousin, Ernest Palmisano, III and sister, Samantha Allen Mitchell.
Honoring Speedy as pallbearers will be Tory Anderson, John Dodson, Daniel Harold, Micah Harold, Ernest Palmisano, III, Nathan Parker, Noah Raab and Jordan Willis.
