Theresa L. Roy

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Theresa L. Roy, 92, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow at Summer Grove Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Rocky Maddox will officiate. Visitation with the family will be held from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Theresa, a Shreveport native, was born November 8, 1924 to Arthur and Velma Ray and passed away April 11, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and loved the Lord with all her heart. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Tell Ray and Velma Juneau Ray; brother, Albert Ray; and daughter, Marty Butt. She is survived by her sons, Jim Roy and wife, Sharon, Bob Roy and wife, Phyllis Nelson; daughter, Barbara Roy; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 11 great great-grandchildren. Honoring Theresa as pallbearers will be Robert Tucker, Scot McDonald, Jerry Durr, Brad Schlotterer, Jim Murray, and Buzz Hartman.
