Theresa Anne Powell

Theresa Anne Powell, 48, of Keithville, Louisiana passed away October 30, 2024. She was born October 26, 1976, to Ronald Glynn Powell and Dinah Kay Mosley.

Theresa was born in Houston, formative years in Portland, OR, called Phoenix, AZ home, and finally moved to Keithville, LA, for family. Everywhere she lived, with her kind heart and listening ear, she created deep and lasting friendships. In her last decade, she lost a daughter, found love, and became a grandmother of 3 beautiful grandbabies. She was an outspoken supporter of childhood cancer research, and she loved Phoenix Children's hospital along with the parents she met there through her youngest daughter's struggle. After celebrating her birthday and wedding anniversary, she passed suddenly, unexpectedly, but peacefully 4 days later, with her husband by her side. She is now with her daughter, Katelyn, and her Lord.

Theresa was preceded in death by her daughter, Katelyn Jenna Calhoun (Her "Angel of Grace") and mother, Dinah Kay Mosley. Left to cherish her memory include her husband, Aaron Keffer, parents, Ron and Mary Powell; daughter, Donna Lea Paxton Marie Powell and her three children; daughter, Allisa Powell; sister, Lisa Massey; and brother, James Sherer.
