Theresa Sanders Barmore

Funeral services for Theresa Sanders Barmore, 63, will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Mineral Springs Cemetery in Ruston, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jerry Whitman.

Theresa was born on August 24, 1958 in Ruston, Louisiana to Louie Sanders and Angie Reeveas Sanders and passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Willis-Knighton Pierremont in Shreveport.

Theresa was a resident of Mooringsport, Louisiana. She worked at Libbey Glass for 22 years and AT&T  for eight years before retiring. She was married to the love of her life, Joel “Eddie” Barmore for 46 wonderful years. Her hobbies included hunting and fishing and spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the absolute joy in her life!

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Glen Sanders; and sister, Linda Alexander. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Joel Barmore; daughters, Christina Wells and Brandy Barmore; grandchildren, Jacob Wells, Jacoby Wells, Anthony Procell and Dylan Barmore; great-grandson, Xaiden Barmore; brothers, Ronnie Sanders and wife, Carolyn, Leonard Sanders and wife, Irene and Gene Sanders; son-in-law, Coby Wells; sister-in-law, Irene Singleton; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.

Honoring Theresa as pallbearers will be Johnny Audleman, Bubba Sampson, Coby Wells, Darren Anderson, Robert Sanders and DeWayne Elliott.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
