A graveside service for Thelma Louise Logan, "Babydoll," 89, will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at the Shaw Family Cemetery, 1591 Sloan Rd., Mansfield, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Greg Sutis.
Thelma, better known as "Babydoll" to everyone that knew her, was born July 12, 1932 in Rayville, Louisiana to Onie Mae Stanley and Thomas Oscar Shaw. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Babydoll loved planting and growing flowers, hunting and fishing, and family get togethers.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Brenda Kay Stroud and husband, Fred; stepfather, Archie Smith, and her three brothers. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 53 years, Donald Logan; children, Glenda Meeks and husband, Rick, Roy Lee Litton and wife, Wanda, Netris Monroe and husband, Rob, Greg Hosey and wife, Cathy, Sylvia Cox and husband, Ed, Remona Molinaro and husband, Mike; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sister, Bertha Mae Bernal; other family members and friends. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
