Our Mom was a woman after Gods heart. She talked to everyone about Him. Everyone that met her fell in love with her. She was the sweetest and kindest woman I ever knew. She loved to sew and make quilts. She also loved to crochet. Her favorite thing was being with her grandkids and showing them her ways of life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. See you in that mansion in the sky, Mom.
She was preceded in death by her husband, I.B. Desselles, Sr., two daughters; Donna Faircloth and Sarah Desselles, mother, Evelia Plaisance-Parks, father, Thomas Parks, five sisters; Erna Parks, Bulah Estay, Esma Ordorne, Shirley Nelson and Pearl Emmons, four brothers; Justy parks, Ernest Parks, Lester Parks and Murphy Parks.
Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters; Lisa Valois (Dwaine) of Marksville, Juanita Desselles of Marksville, and Shirley Gagnard (David) of Marksville; one brother, Johnny Parks of Marksville and one sister Rosalie Ponthieux of Marksville; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
