HOMER, LA: Funeral services were held for Mr. Terry B. Trammell, 91, at Pleasure Point Baptist Church of Homer, LA, on Monday, October 29, 2018, at 10:00 A.M., with Rev. Chuck Johnson, officiating. Interment followed at Hamilton Cemetery in Dubach, LA. The family received friends at the church on Sunday from 7-9 P.M. Mr. Trammell was born January 26, 1927, in Dubach, LA, to Harvey S. and Ruby V. Neeley Trammell. He entered into rest on Monday, October 22, 2018, in Homer, LA. Mr. Trammell graduated from high school at the age of seventeen and joined the US Navy to serve his country two weeks later. He participated in the battle of Okinawa during WW II three months after he turned eighteen. Mr. Trammell was a supervisor with Bell South for 39 years. He was an active member of Pleasure Point Baptist Church. Mr. Trammell was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a devoted husband and father. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Lois Lurline Richards Trammell. He is survived by his son, Glen Trammell and wife Kathy of Dike, TX; daughter, Terri Lynn Trammell of West Monroe, LA; four grandchildren, Timothy Trammell, Stacey Trammell, Michael Trammell and Katie Trammell; four great-grandchildren, Kendall, Colten, Willow and Maddyson. Pallbearers were Timothy Trammell, Michael Trammell, Glen Liner, Russell Mills, Gary Smith and Rick Keith.
