Terry Lane Loftin

Terry Lane Loftin of Crockett, Texas passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the age of 77. Terry was a beloved cousin of Barbara Norrid Shaver and husband Rodney, John Norrid and wife Lynell, Sandra Norrid, Jane Strahan, special “niece” Angel Spota and other relatives including Lexi Norrid.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, O. E. “Dick” Loftin and Shirley Rambin Loftin. Terry was born in Shreveport, LA and attended Woodlawn High School. He joined the Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War receiving a Good Conduct Medal. He later graduated from the University of South Carolina Beaufort. Terry was a big fan of his LSU Tigers.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Holley Springs Cemetery in Martin, Louisiana.
