Terri Cook

A memorial service for Terri Bornaman Cook, 65, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Terri was born on August 27, 1956 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Richard and Carolyn Bornaman and passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Terri was a graduate of Northwest Louisiana College where she received her Notary Public license. She worked for Shreveport Tractor for 10 years. Terri was preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Cook; son, James Prescott and wife, Hilary of Hurst, Texas; sister, Brenda Bornaman Pagel and husband, Warren of Keithville, Louisiana; brother, Richard N. Bornaman, Jr. of Shreveport, Louisiana; stepson, Johnny Cook and wife, Shaquita of Shreveport, Louisiana and step-daughter, Dixie Stafford and husband, Justin of Shreveport, Louisiana; nieces, Kimberly Battle and Thomas Dixon of Keithville, Louisiana, Brittany Pagel of Shreveport, Louisiana and Kara Bornaman of Lafayette, Louisiana; nephew, Riley Bornaman of Shreveport, Louisiana; step-grandson, Leland Stafford and step-granddaughter, Sarah Stafford. The family would like to express special thanks to her aunt, Cheryl Brown for sitting by her side for days before the end of her life and Joel Weathersby for his support for Terri and James. Special thanks also goes to the medical staff of Willis-Knighton Pierremont, especially Nurse Hannah, Nurse Christine and Nurse Sherry at Willis-Knighton Pierremont for the care and compassion given to Terri.
