Funeral services for Tammy Renee Young will be held Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Officiating the service will be Reverend Tom Brown. Tammy was born on October 20, 1959 to Raydell Godfrey Young and Lennis Marie Young in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She loved to play golf, garden, cook, spend time with her family and do arts and crafts. Tammy was an avid animal lover all her life but especially loved her Boston Terriers she had over the years. She worked in home health for over 25 years in Northwest Louisiana. Tammy is preceded in death by her father, Raydell Young. She is survived by her mother, Lennis Young; lifelong partner, Jim Hatchett; daughters, Lennis Fondren, Tabitha Rawls and husband, Blake, Kathrine Spicer and husband, Mark and Emily Currington and husband, Jeremy; son, Bobby Hatchett and wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Dylan, Angelina, Owen, Emily, Jocelyn, Raelynn, MaryJo, Tristan, Ryan, Carter, Katie and Paxton; sisters, Debbie Jacobs and Becky Smith; nieces, Lennis and Ashley and her husband, Justin; nephews, Roy, Hunter, George, and Christopher and his wife, Michelle; and her beloved Boston Terrier, Boston.
